Rexel

Rexel is a global leader in electrical, heating, lighting and plumbing equipment distribution for industrial, commercial and residential markets. Rexel has a wide variety of branches over several countries and gives all online users the ability to find a branch near them. My team and I conducted a user test on Rexel Australia’s Branch Locator as well as two competitor sites to gain a better understanding of what our users need. After we received user feedback, we proposed a redesign of the existing Branch Locator with a few new features.

Problem Statement

The focus is on gathering feedback on Rexel’s current Branch Locator, gathering insights on competitors and understanding what systems work.

User Testing with Testapic

To get a better understanding on what our users specifically want and need, we launched a user test through Testapic for Rexel Australia’s Branch Locator and two competitors: Middy’s and Lawrence & Hanson. Here is what we uncovered.
